I have a history of ovarian cysts and polyps of servics and colon. I don t have my appendix or gallbladder any more and I have had adhesions removed from my previous surgical procedures including a large ovarian cyst and polyp scraping. I also have a heart arithmetia. I am 5 foot 2 inches tall about 200 pounds and female. The gray lips is a new symptom and I don t know what is causing.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of grey discoloration on the lips which seems to be due to chronic lip irritation, dry mucosa, leucoplakia, poor immunity and due to hyper-pigmentation.
Need not to worry. i would suggest you to
- Avoid excessive licking and pricking of lips.
- Don't brush your lips at all as that will cause bleeding and cracks.
- Apply natural lip balm on lips to prevent from drying and don't apply with finger.
- Use tea tree oil dipped in cotton swab for fastening the healing and prevent discoloration.
- Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight.
You will get relief in 1-2 weeks, if your condition keeps on persisting visit oral physician once and get it examined and take proper course of anti-fungal medications.
