What Causes Grey Vaginal Discharge After A Miscarriage?
Hi, I started my natural miscarriage on 1st November [6 weeks pregnant] and a week later a ultra sound showed everything was clear. After the bleeding brown discharge followed and the last couple of days I have noticed it is easing off but I now have a tiny bit of grey discharge with no odor.
Generally, post-abortion bleeding will be darker and possibly even slightly brown. You also may notice blood clots, which tend to be much darker since the concentration is denser. Mild vaginal discharge with no odour is nothing serious. Spotting may be tinged brown from the old blood which is completely normal. If your discharge has a yellow or green tint and/or has a foul odor, it is not normal and a sign of infection. You may take 4 to 6 weeks for the normal cycles to return.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
