What Causes Growing Red Spot Near Mouth?
My 7 year old boy has a spot near his mouth that is red but now getting bigger. I took him to a go who said it's fungus and prescribed a cream to use for up to 8 weeks. Tonight I noticed another smillar spot above his ear. I am getting bit worried and am not sure what to do. Please help!

Fungal rashes can spread by contact with the infected area.
If the rash is similar in appearance to the other rash by his mouth, it is possible that it was spread by contact with the initial infected area.
You should continue the treatment as prescribed but if you remain concerned you can re visit your doctor for review.
