What Causes Growling Stomach And Swollen Left Leg While Having Stomach Upset?

hi. i ve been having an upset stomach since a few hours ago and i can practically hear and feel it rumbling especially when i lie down sideways. however, i don t get the feeling of having to poop. the only things i had were a chicken leg, a few spoonful of spaghetti and half a glass of large pineapple juice. also, four days ago, i noticed that my left leg is slightly fatter than my right. i m not sure if it s always been like that or just recently. i don t know if i m just getting fatter or if there s something wrong with me.

Hello,

It can be an indigestion or acid peptic disease. As a first line management you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Bowel soothening agents like carminative mixture can also be tried.

Increase the intake of fruits and vegetables.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
