What Causes Grumpy Feeling In Throat?
Hello Doctor, i m a singer and live in the US. I have visited India recently. I could sing the first day.. No issues. Second day onwards my voice is not cooperative at all. I can t sing in the lower and upper octaves. My throat feels very grumpy. Please advise

I appreciate your concern
in my opinion you might be having throat infection or acute laryngitis which can lead to hoarseness of voice
I would advise you to do warm saline gargles
have plenty of lukewarm water and other fluids
you can take lozenges to soothe your throat
if it worsens further please consult your doctor for a course of antibiotics
