What Causes Gum Bleeding And Persistant Bad Taste In Mouth?
HI CAN YOU TELL ME A GOOD OVER THE COUNTER SOLUTION/MEDICATION FOR SORE BLEEDING GUMS AND PERSISTANT BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH, I HAVE A SCALE & CLEAN EVERY YEAR AND ONLY 8 WEEKS AGO, I HAVE STOPPED SMOKING AND I NEED THIS TO CLEAR UP BEFORE CARDIO ABLATION NEXT MONTH..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you are either suffering from Gum infection known as GINGIVITIS and in case if it spreads to deeper structures like the jaw bone it is known as PERIODONTITIS..
Bas taste in mouth is also due to infection in gums and as there is bleeding there must also be pus discharge and both the blood and pus leads to bad taste in mouth..
It is impossible to do scaling perfectly on your own and complete removal of deposits is not possible.. So better consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and get a through Scaling and root planing done and he will advise you to take antibiotics like Metrogyl and Amoxicillin and anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen.. Antimicrobial ointments and mouthwashes and gum paint topical application will also be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
