Understanding your concern.
As per your query you have symptoms of gum discoloration which is mainly because of acute necrotizing periodontal disease. This grayish/ ppurpuilish discoloration of the gums is due to dead tissue, or necrosis. This is a oral health issue, with symptoms that can also include
bleeding gums, at times pain, and a foul smelling mouth. Improper
oral hygiene, stress, smoking, viral infections, and HIV are causes of infection. If this condition left untreated, it can spread to your cartilage and then bone, causing very serious health concerns.
I would suggest you to visit
dentist and get proper cleaning of this area done. Periodontist is the one specialized for gums for proper scaling, root planning.
Take antibiotics such as
Aureomycin to prevent bacterial out growth there.
Maintain hygiene brush three times a day along with flossing.
There are surgical and non surgical both methods available to prevent this discoloration.
Use antimicrobial mouth wash such as
Listerine.
Visit dentist after every 6 month to keep a regular follow up.
