Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I KNOW how rare hair growth in the gums is. I also have researched and found that there have been 3 other people around the world with hair growth in their gums. Unfortunately, I do not have any of their situations, so it has not been remidied. I need to find a professional oral pathologist who will find the hair follicle, and an oral surgeon who will remove it. It's been 5 years, and I've been losing gum tissue and teeth. I need immediate help. ..
As per your query you have gum recession problem . There can be many reasons for gum recession like faulty brushing technique ( very common ) , gum diseases like gingivitis , pockets and periodontitis , malalignment of teeth and genetic factors . I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene , brush your teeth with ultra soft tooth brush very gently in circular motion and do antiseptic mouthwash rinses like listrine . Consult dental hygienist or dentists for proper examination . Doctor may perform complete oral proplylaxis like scaling and curetage . Doctor may also prescribe antibiotics .
