What Causes Gurgling Noises In The Stomach Area And Intestinal Gas?

I am a 56 year old Caucasian male. 5 6 , about 175 lbs. Over the past month or maybe longer, every time I eat (anything, snack, small or large meal) almost immediately within a few minutes I get extreme gurgling and popping, gas buildup, irritation in my stomach. At times it will also progress into needing a bowel movement fairly soon, within an hour or so. Most often a soft but not actual diarrhea. I have regular morning bowel movements, usually two actually every morning. Could this be serious....ulcer...or just common indigestion.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. As per your complain you have problem of abdominal sound and gas problem with loose stool that may be because of some food allergy or indigestion or intestinal infection. Overgrowth of bacteria or fungal growth cause abdominal symptoms.

Intestinal condition like celiac disease may be ruled out. Intestinal obstruction condition cause loud peach sound.Do some diet and lifestyle modifications like. Avoid gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower and carbonated drinks etc. If lactose intolerance then avoid dairy product. Take probiotic like yoghurt to improve your health. Drink filter water. Avoid fatty foods and junk foods. After taking this much care if still symptoms are present then consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Abdominal x-ray can be done for further diagnosis. Also, endoscopy can be done for further diagnosis.
