General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the gushing sensation in chest with history of mitral valve prolapse indicates disturbances with cardiac output percentage required for peripheral circulation, evidenced by low blood pressure. My guidelines at present

- drink more liquids to maintain hydration
- take extra care during postural changes as sitting and standing from lying down position
- do regular base deep breathing exercises
- walk in fresh air to get enough ozone level
- avoid smoking if consuming
- discuss need of any medicines for your regular use with your doc to prevent dizziness episodes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
