What Causes H. Pylori Gastritis?

Hello, My doctor diagnosed me to have Hpylori disease after my EGD Procedure and prescribed (3) kinds of medications to treat the same namely: Omeprazole 20MG capsules, Clarithromycin 500MG tablets, and Amoxicillin 500 MG. May I know what causes Hpylori disease?

I understand your concern.
H.pylori is a bacteria which is a normal commensal found in the stomach. It is known to cause acute erosive gastritis when the number increases by damaging gastric mucosa. Its number is known to increase due to dietary habits which could lead to increase in acid production in the stomach.
Triple drug regime what has been given in known to eradicate excess H.pylori and bring the counts under control. Kindly take the medications as advised by your doctor to overcome it.
