What Causes Hair Fall Along With Weight Gain And Elevated BP?
My normal Tsh used to be 1.8. Now it is 4.2 and my hair is falling out, thinning in the crown, losing hair at the end of my eye brows, gaining lots of weight while exercising and eating less, elevated Bp, elevated cholestoral- HDL is high but my Ldl is climbing. My eyes are very dry and now on restatis, dry hair and skin. I need a physician who will treat my thyroid.
According to history provided by you, Most probably you are suffering from hypothyroidism. All above mentioned symptoms ae suggestive of hypothyroidism.
Hypothyroidism is common endocrine disorder and iodine deficiency is the most common cause of it.
If such patient comes to me then I advice him/her an investigation and then according to that prescribe him/her a thyroid hormone replacement with appropriate dose of medicine.
