Hello Dr. Rynne,My 18 year old daughter has lost 18 pounds from a lot of exercise and eating small portions of low fat food. She was never really over weight to start with and now looks too thin. Her height is 5 5 and her weight is 110 lbs. I am concerned about her health since she looks too thin and the skin color on the lower part of her face seems to have a greenish hue to it. When she stopped having her menstrual cycle for 6 months, a lot of her hair fell out and it still has not grown back to the thick, beautiful head of hair she used to have. My daughter is taking iron supplements and a multivitamin. She still seems with drawn which could be from hormonal changes. Do you have any suggestions?
