Hi,
Tugain is a medication containing
minoxidil, which is used to treat hair loss.
Fungicide shampoo is usually used to treat fungal infections of the scalp. While hair loss can be a side effect of minoxidil, it is not clear whether the hair loss you are experiencing is due to Tugain or fungal shampoo.
Nizral 2 contains
ketoconazole, which is another antifungal medication. While ketoconazole can also cause hair loss, this is an uncommon side effect. However, the roughness of your hair and continued hair loss may be due to an adverse reaction to the shampoo.
It is important to note that hair loss can have many different causes, including
hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies,
stress, and genetics. If you are experiencing significant hair loss, it is recommended that you see a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
