What Causes Hair Loss After Taking Ramipril?

I have been taking ramipril for high blood pressure of the last month. After 2 weeks of taking it my hair has started to fall out. I have stopped taking it and will be seeing my doctor next week for an alternative Hbp medication. How long before the ramipril leaves my system and will my hair return to normal?

Ramipril does not cause hair loss to my knowledg,but some side effects of ramipril may not be reported.
So I suggest you to consult with your cardiologist for an alternative medication.
