What Causes Hair Loss And Dry Skin After Taking Xarelto?
I began xarelto 3 weeks ago after a cardiac ablation procedure. I am losing hair and have dry skin. is this normal. will my hair revive after discontinuing the xarelto. the electrophysiologist said last week at postop appt that I may wean down in about 3 months.

loss of hair or hair thinning is not a documented side effect of xarelto, How ever cases are reported where there is hair loss after starting anti coagulant ;you can ask your cardiologist to shift you to other noble anticoagulants like Pradaxa(dabigatran) , pradaxa is equally good and the repors of hair lose is significantly low in case of pradaxa.
