Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
Based on the history given you seem to have inadequate dose of
Thyronorm for the treatment of
hypothyroidism.
Kindly consult your treating doctor to increase the dose in such a way to keep TSH within the normal reference range (approximately 0.4 and 2.5 mU/L).
You will be asked to repeat the
thyroid function tests (free T4 and TSH) after 4-6 weeks to check the response to the increment in the dose.
If the TSH remains above the normal reference range, the dose of T4 can be increased by 12 to 25 mcg/day.
Remember to ensure an adequate absorption from the gut, Thyronorm should be taken on an empty stomach, ideally an hour before breakfast.
You can do regular exercise, avoid taking high caloric diet, take plenty of vegetables and fruits which not only will reduce your body weight but also promote the hair growth.
Livogen Tablet which contains Ferrous Fumarate, and
Folic Acid can be continued to correct the anemia.
Hope these answer your query.
