What Causes Hair Loss While On Methimazole?
I m taking methimazole for hyperthyroidism, and my hair is falling out real bad. Also I ve been going to a cancer doctor for low white blood cell counts. I read that this medication might cause hair loss and could lower white blood cell counts. What should I do?

It is not related to methimasole.
As a first line management you can take zinc containing multivitamins for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
