What Causes Hallucinations In An Elderly Woman?

My wife age 92 has within the last 2 weeks experienced 5 or 6 hallucinations. Radiation Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry for your experience, that must have been tough for you. Have these hallucinations happened before or was this the first time she experienced?

These symptoms need to be evaluated in detail and if required a CT scan of the brain and blood work to look for nutritional imbalances. Based on the findings we can take things further.

Meanwhile, I would advise not to leave her unattended, since she can be at risk of hurting herself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
