What Causes Hallucinations While On Phenytoin?
Yes, my son recently had a seizure (last Night). He was sent to an ER. They rehydrated him & got his #s up up. He was released with a Phenytoin 30mg to take once a day at bedtime. He as been hallucinating all day with little sleep last night. Should I return him to the hospital or is this Normal. He was also given Valium.

Hello,
As in your case child is on Phenytoin and having hallucinations. So this could be Phenytoin toxicity so you should go to hospital immediately and get Phenytoin level checked.
