Also, could a few days of steroid use have brought on the rainbow halos? The first doctor said there is no connection. The other one said it s uncommon. I ve never had this experience of seeing halos before in my whole life. Last time I had conjunctivitis was in elementary school and it was nothing like this. Thank you for any help. -Jen
classic, this is from CATARACTS. This is increased with LONG TERM steroid use and is age dependent and under age 40 is pretty rare.
Another possibility is any gunk at all in the eyes. steroids somewhat increase risk of infection like from bacteria but certainly with yeast infection. The gunk is likely to be evident in the corners of the eye in the a.m. A good reason to get an infection.
