What Causes Hard And Discoloured Skin On The Little Toe?

Hi my name is Dale and I am 24 years old I wear shoes that are smaller than my feet slightly. My small toe have since developed a hardened layer of discoloured skin and the toe nail has also thickened. I sometime file it away but it remains discoloured and it keeps growing back. What can I do to fix this? No pain is felt

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness ,headache and elevated heart rate while having vertigo. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case ,It looks like a fungal infection due to moisture . You need antifungal+steroidal preparation named Hydrozole twice daily. Its usage will tell you in 2 weeks that its getting healed up. Keep the area dry. Change socks everytime you wear shoes. The other reason could be infectious eczematous dermatitis . I think discolouration is mainly due to itching.keep the infected part in luke warm water and at night apply broad spectrum antibiotic twice daily can cure the condition . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment .
