What Causes Hard And Red Skin Around Knees?

I have some sort of excema type issue on my left and right shin/knee area. The area(s) are leathery, hard, red, blistered and can ooze pus. This is a fairly rapid onset, 6 days ago, and has progressed from what looked like bug bites, to these dollar size areas in some places.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, it can be a psoriatic rash or eczema patch.

It's better to get a dermatologist review and get it examined in detail or share the pictures in queries directed to dermatologists on this forum. As in such cases, topical steroids may be needed.

Oral antihistamines can be used for itching etc. OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be used for pain or inflammation.
