Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have two hard bumps on the back of my head on my lower scalp I don t know if they are my lymph nodes but if they are they are near the occipital area they are hard don t hurt and don t move the one on the left is smaller than the one on the right and they are in slightly different places
I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you. Lymph node enlargement in occipital area could be nonspecific or reactive lymphadenitis. Any scalp infection or infection in head and neck region or even dandruff, itching in scalp might have caused lymph node enlargement. You can get fnac if you want to confirm the cause of lymphadenitis. This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.
Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
