What Causes Hard Lump In Armpit?

I was just showering and noticed a toonie sized lump in my armpit. It is hard and doesn t move. I don t think it was always their and isn t on my other side. I have just started my period so maybe glands ? It s at like the top on the side away from my breasts.

Hello,
Non movable lump in the armpit is a matter of concern. I want to know your age but the possibilities are
1. Accessory breast tissue.
2. Axillary tail of breast
3. Enlarged axillary lymph node due to any breast lesion .
You should examine your breast yourself for any swelling and do fine needle aspiration cytology of the swelling in the armpit.
Consult surgeon for that.
