What Causes Hard Lumps On Face And Behind The Head?
Hi is their any chance anyone can help me my boyfriend has 4 lumps one on his face that he has had for 4 months and it s hard you can t pop it or anything doesn t hurt him or anything just feels like a stone under his skin but he s had 3 more appear on Sunday he has 2 on the back of his head one is red looks like he s been bitten by somthing but he hasn t banged it or anything but he says their painful and he s just had one appear on his neck and hurts when he turns his head do you know what these could be ?
Noted the history about hard lumps below the skin on face and now on neck and back part of head, the one on back are red and painful. The commonest reasons for such lumps can be summarized as below: Tight sebaceous cysts as the one on the face or painless and not red. The one on teh back of head and neck might have infected. This can be diagnosed by a clinical examination by a General Surgeon. Removal may be the only option hence get ready for surgery if advised so by the Surgeon. Do not try to pop as this only increases the complications.
