What Causes Hard Lumpy Red Sores On Penis?

Hi, for the past two weeks, I have had a red sore on my penis shaft, about the same size as a mosquito bite, possibly a little bigger. It started out flesh colored, but now its red. It has no abnormal appearance besides the color, its just red skin that is raised. If I squeeze the bump, I can feel a harder lump under the skin, which I dont think is attached to the skin. Ive never had this before, and im unsure of what it is. My best guess is lymphocele, but id like to ask. My semen has also been watery the past few days, but I dont know if that is related

Hi,

It is difficult to provide an accurate diagnosis without a physical examination or additional information, such as a medical history. However, there are several possible causes of hard, lumpy, red sores on the penis, including:
* Genital herpes: This sexually transmitted infection can cause painful blisters or sores on the penis, which may be accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever and swollen lymph nodes.
* Syphilis: This bacterial infection can cause a painless sore, called a chancre, on the penis, which may be accompanied by other symptoms, such as a rash, fever, and swollen lymph nodes.
* Folliculitis: This condition occurs when hair follicles become inflamed, resulting in small red bumps or pimples on the skin. It can be caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses and may be worsened by shaving or other types of hair removal.
* Lymphocele: This is a swelling caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system. It can occur on the penis and may appear as a hard lump under the skin.
* Genital warts: This sexually transmitted infection can cause small, raised, lumpy growths on the penis.

It is important to see a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your healthcare provider may perform tests, such as a blood test or a culture of the sore, to determine the cause. They may also prescribe medications, such as antibiotics or antiviral drugs, depending on the underlying cause.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
