What Causes Hard Painful Lump Between Forehead And Left Temple?
I have a small, maybe 3mm in diameter lump right below my hair between my forehead and my left temple. It is hard and moves with my skin. It only hurts slightly when pressed on and there is no redness; just skin colored. I am afraid it might be cancer.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The hard lump what your are describing could be possibly 'dermoid cyst'. For its permanent cure, it needs to be removed surgically. To remove a dermoid cyst, the doctor will clean the area over which the cyst is located, inject a local anesthetic, and make an incision directly over the cyst and remove it completely followed by suturing of the skin according to the length of incision made. Kindly consult Surgeon for clinical examination and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
