hi doc, i have a hard pimple like on my mons pubis i belive its called its right were the pubic hair start growing and it looks like its getting bigger and swollen and it feels hard to the touch and it hurts. please help...i am scared it might be something bad how can i get rid of it

It is possible that it started off as an infected hair bump (folliculitis) but may be progressing to form an abscess.
An abscess is an collection of pus.
It is treated definitively by incision and drainage of the area. Oral antibiotics may also be needed.
