What Causes Hard Pounding Heart Beat?
I'll be just sitting there and my heart will start beating hard and fast randomly to a point where I get uncomfortable, doesn't feel right, and heart problems are both on my mom and dads family, my dad has a heart condition right now, double bypass and has had a heart attack

Chances of any heart disease is very less likely, you have not mentioned your age and gender here, this was very much necessary, without this difficult to advise in right way, still I would suggest you to get done the EKG test, if this turned positive then ECHO and other test would be needed, and if this came unremarkable then this is nothing to worry, take care.
