I have a small pea size lump on my upper arm by my bicep it s fairly hard, should I be concerned. My dad had the same kind of thing, after 2 operations they determined it was sarcoma cancer and it grew very fast, then he had his arm amputated and 6 months later died of cancer in his lungs
1.The history and sequential events mentioned suggest there was a malignant lesion with distant metastasis. 2.The lesion could be from the bone which was seen as a lump - which was excised - but as you have mentioned it might reoccured again. 3.In this case lastly to prevent the extension or as a palliative treatment / reduce symptoms amputation might have been done. 4.The lung findings could be the metastasis - distinct involvement of the sarcoma. 5.When the malignancy spreads extensively the survival is reduced. Sorry for that.
Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
