What Causes Hard Stools At Morning?

In the AM my stool is very hard and in small pebbles, so hard I need to use a glove and pull them out of my rectum they are very easy to come out. The rest of the day my stools seem to be normal. This has become an every day thing the AM stool acts as a plug unless I manually get them out. Could you tell me what may be going on with me? I had a colonoscopy about 2 months ago everything was fine. Thank You

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This can be related to diet changes. Use more fibers and water in your diet especially in the night. You can eat kiwi and have two glasses of water in the afternoon and you will see improvement.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
