General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Though minor GI discomfort in terms of nausea, vomiting, altered bowel habits are common with chemotherapy, a constant feeling of pressure over the upper abdomen can be due to liver congestion or else.

In my clinic, I do recommend liver function tests, complete peripheral blood examination and ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis for such issue to get the best prediction of cause and manage efficiently.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
