What Causes Haziness In The Lungs Without Fever, Cough Or Chest Pain?
my x ray over a year back showed haziness in lungs and was diagnozed pnumenitis althoughi did not have any fever or cough. however i had chest pain on exertion which immediately disappeared on resting. i also underwent ct scan which also concluded A TYPICAL PNUMENIA. i was given heavy dozer of anti biotics for two weeks . now after one year i again underwent chest x ray. the haZINESS IN THE LUNGS IS THERE. BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY fever, cough or any chest pain. then why should haziness in the lungs be there. av malhotra

The haziness in lung field can be due to sequelae of pneumonia. The haziness is probably due to fibrosis and there is nothing to worry. Fibrosis is end result of inflammation.
