Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headache 3 Hours After Meal And Intense Physical Activity?
21 y/o female with hypoglycemic headache 3 hours after meal and intense physical activity. Symptoms including fuzzy vision, some loss of coordination. Returned to normal 45 mins after drinking lemonade. Not diabetic - thoughts? I suggested a fasting blood workup. Potential for migraine w/aura and therefore on mini-pill.
Based on your query and her symptoms, I would like to rule out the above.
I recommend ; -a physician consult just to make sure everything is alright and there are no contraindications for intense exercise -avoiding this level of strain. Turn it down a notch. Increase intensity gradually. -stay hydrated during exercise as well. Electrolytes and fluids need to be restored, if it more than an hour of exercise. Rest /slow down for a few minutes in between.
Additional investigations may be necessary if the above measures don't work. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Wish you good health
