What Causes Headache After Taking Clopidogrel And Metoprolol?

I have problems regulating my blood pressure even though i m on two different BP meds. One is Amlodipine Besylate/Benazepril hydrochloride 10-40 mg, and Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg twice a day plus aspirin 325 mg once a day, also i m on Clopidogrel, yet every day my BP runs around 184/94. And when it s high my head hurts and I feel very cold. Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not related to clopidogrel.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
