Hello and welcome to HCM,
A history of back ache and pain in upper chest area requires a X-ray of back and X-ray of chest.
In addition, an
ultrasound abdomen is also required to assess the status of abdominal organs.
Since, you doctor has diagnosed a
gall bladder problem, an ultrasound is necessary to assess the gall bladder.
There could be presence of
gall stones.
Gall stones can cause inflammation of gall bladder and hence cholecystitis.
Cholecystitis is characterised by right upper
abdominal pain which can radiate to right shoulder tip.
Attacks of
acute cholecystitis is often accompanied by fever and general malaise.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment.
In the meanwhile you can take painkiller for headache.
Thanks and take care
