What Causes Headache Along With Nausea After Receiving Shingles Vaccination?

My husband (61 yrs old) suddenly came down with a headache that he says feels like his head is going to explode, he is cold, feels like vomiting at times and can not get his eyes to focus to read. I was wondering if it could be a side effect of the shingles vaccination he had yesterday or just possibly the flu? Why does this site not tell you initially there is a fee involved? I will just call ask a nurse!

Hello!
I have been through your question.
According your concern you should know that shingles vaccination have some side effects like redness, soreness, swelling, or itching on the back of your arm where you get the shot and less common side effects include headaches. In very rare cases, people have developed a severe allergic reaction to the shingles virus, include swelling of the face (including the mouth and eyes), hives, warmth or redness of the skin, trouble breathing, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or a slow pulse. But,based on the above mentioned symptoms I suggest that (to be sure that these symptoms are the side effects of shingles vaccination or just possibly the flu) your husband must talk as soon as possible with your doctor to do a physical examination and to define the reason of this situation.
I hope my answer help you.
I wish your husband a quick recovery.
