What Causes Headache And Appetite Loss?

I have had a headache for a week straight going from mild to severe. I cannot keep food down and whenever I try to eat I do not have an appetite. My throat keeps swelling up to the point where I can barely breathe and not matter how much sleep I get I am always drowsy. I have had my blood tested and all came back fine. What should I pursue next?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection. I recommend taking anti-inflammatory medication such as Acetaminophen three tablets a day.

I also recommend to use a throat spray and drink liquids.

If the symptoms continue you may start a cycle of antibiotics for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
