What Causes Headache And Blurred Vision After Hitting The Head?
Hi, i hit my forehead(right side of my forhead) heavily in the table yesterday and i got some bleeding . today i am feeling headache and blurred vision in the right side eye. Can you please let me know do i have to goto doctor immediately
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Minor head injury usually do not cause visual symptoms in most of cases. When they do, it goes away in few hours or day. Visual symptoms following head injury includes: blurred vision, sensitivity to light, glare sensitivity, Reading difficulties, attention and concentration difficulty, double eyes, aching eyes. If you did not lose consciousness following injury, no emesis, no ear/nose bleeding and if you don’t feel any neurological deficit like weakness in arms or leg than there is no serious injury to worry. If your visual symptoms lasts longer or if they are worsening than i would advise you to consult ophthalmologist/neurologist for detailed physical examination and investigation.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
