My daughter is 44, works overtime, is under a lot of stress. She had hip replacement last June, to replace a hip socket and joint built when she was two. At the time of surgery she found her sugar levels were high. She has not been treating it thinking it was stress, weight gain from being immobile etc. However, she is having what mimicks cluster headaches, blurred vision and her sugar is high. She was given a steroid for the headaches and her sugar levels were uncontrollable. She is taking insulin and trying to get it under control. However, even when it s in normal levels, her head is still pounding. She is having a cat scan tomorrow. Any ideas?
