Hello,
You are suffering from headache and
chest pain after
choking on food. Choking on food means that food has been aspirated into the breathing tube. This warrants emergency
first aid and medical care. You are also feeling very tired and weak. You are suggested to visit ER, get clinically examined by a GP. You may need to get imaging tests like X-ray done. You will be accordingly treated.
You should get hospitalized as a minimum of 24 hours monitoring and staying under observation is a must. Neglect may lead to
pneumonia or life threatening conditions. If the choking episode was severe. It can have symptoms like headache,
chest discomfort the next day. But should resolve in a few days or should be urgently treated.
Headache has many causes and may not be related to choking or difficulty in swallowing. If you have any swallowing problems then discuss it with your treating doctor. Difficulty in swallowing is not true choking and can be caused by digestive conditions, stroke, or
connective tissue disorders.
Shortness of breath after choking is an emergency situation and the patient should be rushed to the ER immediately.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
