What Causes Headache And Dizziness After A Head Injury?

Hi, my father just fell off a ladder, approximately 8ft and hit his head as well as his back. I suppose his mouth was open because his lip is cut badly from his teeth as well. He is complaining of a headache and he told me he lost consciousness when he fell and that he doesn t remember anything from the event. He s in a lot of pain but refuses to go to the doctor. I figured getting help online would be my next best option.

Hi thanks for posting on hcm.
I cam understand that he don't want to see a doctor but for his betterment I would recommend to see a doctor and get a ct done as he lost consciousness and had no memory of the event if he have additional symptoms such as headache and vomiting after the fall then there is a chance of subdural or subarachnoid haemorrhage.
Hope this is helpful.
Regards
