What Causes Headache And Dizziness After Lasik Eye Surgery?
My Mom is 60 years old and about a year ago, she had Lasix eye surgery which was moderately unsuccessful. After wearing glasses her entire life, she now has to take reading glasses on and off since her surgery. Shortly following the eye surgery, she started having headaches, vertigo type dizziness, and pressure in her sinuses and behind her eyes. The symptoms come and go but have been fairly consistent over the past few weeks and she had a bought of high blood pressure as well. She randomly becomes dizzy and then following that, has pain behind her eyes and a headache and feels tired. I m not sure if it s all related to the eye surgery or not. She also had a head CT scan last year which was normal. Any thoughts?
Most likely reason for dizziness and headache after lasereye surgery is changes in intra-occular pressure, residual retinal or corneal edema. Kindly get her checked with expert retina consultant to prevent secondary damage to the eye structures.
