What Causes Headache And Dizziness While On Meftal-Spas And Metrogyl?

Hello dr.i had been suggested meftal spasm, metrogyl and nimelide along with acidity tab..but I did not get nimelide so I consumed the rest for dysmenorrhea..but after taking those my head felt heavy and got headache and dizziness...this has continued after the second dosage also...I did not take the third dosage hence.....the symptoms did not stop the other day also ..I went to the doctor and told him that I have been feeling extremely drowsy and dizziness..he gave me ecnim and vertigem- D ..the problem still persists ..I have my exams, I am unable to study ..things are floating in my brain. Plz help me. I am also having homeopathy for gout.

It looks like you are suffering from the side effects of meftal spas & metrogyl, though such side effects are rare. You should discontinue taking the medicines. Give yourself a break. Stay well hydrated (take soups, juice, electrol, ORS, etc), take nutritious food rich in calcium & minerals. Give more time to studies & stop worries. Avoid stress & anxiety, cut on addictions if any. You can take acetaminophen (tylenol) if you are in discomfort. If dizziness is still there, get your ears clinically examined, it can be due to vertigo. Get treated.
