Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Question. Why do my eyes hurt and or get headache when I read? I ve always had this problem. I see clearly, that is not the issue. I get tired, I mean exhausted after I read. I m usually ok for half a chapter or a short chapter but after I m tired, my eyes hurt, text starts to get more blurry and if I push it I get an instant headache. I m turning 21 this month. I m a left hander. I ve also struggled through school with that restless leg syndrome (only recently found out what it was) and on and off sleep paralysis (usually only if I try to nap during the day). Normally the fix of RLS is reading and that makes it much worse probably cause of the above reasons. Other than that I have no issues whatsoever. I ve never been on anything.. i pretty much ate no greens through childhood so assuming I already had a lack of dopamine and minerals.
