What Causes Headache And High BP During Menstruation?

I am 37 years old, 53 kg, 1.68m. I have high blood pressure during my periods. 148/105 never lower than 133/93. I suffer from terrible pain and headaches during that time. This started after my last child was born. I have 2 children. During the time between my periods my blood pressure will vary. The highest was 173/115

Hi, I think you should go for some hormonal treatment for your premenstrual symptom. PMS can be a cause of higher blood pressure, but it is yet under research. Measure your bp in between the periods . If it is still high, you can take some antihypertensive. If headaches are severe, you can try some SSRI.
