What Causes Headache And Nausea?

I was experiencing flashing lights, then a headache that centered on the right side of my face. It then felt like my temples were being pressed, I started feeling nauseous. I ve taken ibuprofen and Zyrtec. I was dusting and I thought that it caused my allergies to flare. I ve been having migraine headaches more often lately, but they re getting harder to knock out since my hysterectomy last year.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Flashing lights and headache associated with nausea are possibly caused by allergies as you've been dusting these days.

Should breathe fresh air (better go to a fully wooden park and deep breath the fresh air).

Wash your nose with running water. Rinsing with sea salt drops can help.

You've had hysterectomy since one year now, and hormonal changes have caused your migraine headaches.

Continue taking Ibuprofen and Zyrtec. If still no improvement should see your physician as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
