What Causes Headache And Red Blisters On The Breast And Back?
so... i thought i had the flu but was listless, queasy and had a terrible headache then i noticed a red raised rash/blisters on my breast that travelled to my back which seem to be shingles. unfortunately, i have been feeling this way for4 days thinking i had the flu. i guess i need antiviral meds to treat this.?
As mentioned in your question ,the symptoms you are experiencing is suggestive of shingles. Anti viral medications like ayclovir given within first 3 days of onset of blisters help prevent future complications like nerve pain and, reduce pain and duration of symptoms. Physical examination is required for confirmation of diagnosis before initiating treatment. Follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and management.
Hope I was able to answer your question Please feel free to address any more concerns Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
