General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are variety of headaches and each depend on different underlying cause. As it's on one side, mostly it's a tension headache. Is it on and off or continuously present for last couple of weeks?

I suggest you visit a neurologist as well as consult an ophthalmologist for the same. Sometimes headaches are related to eye power where using spectacles help a lot. But for this you need to undergo appropriate check-up.

Depending on the medical history your doctor will suggest appropriate medical treatment. You can take acetaminophen which will provide some relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
